Ms. Winkler received her bachelor's degree in 1995 from Columbia College, Columbia University (B.A., History). She received her J.D. in 2002 from Brooklyn Law School, where she was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and where she served as a legal intern with the United States Attorney's Office (E.D.N.Y.) and the New York Stock Exchange Enforcement Division.

Ms. Winkler is currently a member of the team working on In re Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. Securities Litigation (S.D.N.Y.), a securities fraud class action.

Before joining Bernstein Liebhard & Lifshitz, L.L.P., Ms. Winkler was an Assistant District Attorney with the Kings County District Attorney's Office. She was also a portfolio analyst with the asset management division of the entity formerly known as PaineWebber, currently UBS.

Ms. Winkler is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York.
