Bernstein Liebhard LLP partner, Felecia L. Stern, has been featured in The New York Times Magazine as one of the top woman lawyers in New York State, as recognized by Super Lawyers magazine in its 2013 New York Metro Super Lawyers list.

The recognition was included in the Magazine’s March 23, 2014 issue and was based on Ms. Stern’s inclusion in Super Lawyers as one of the highest-ranked women lawyers practicing in the New York Metro area.  Selections for the Super Lawyers list nomination, which is only bestowed on five percent of lawyers in New York, are made each year by a research team at Super Lawyers; a service of the Thomson Reuters, Legal division and reached through a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent evaluation of candidates by the attorney-led research staff, a good-standing and disciplinary check and peer review of candidates by practice area.

Ms. Stern was named to the Super Lawyers list in 2011, 2012 and 2013 for achievements in class action/mass torts law.  Ms. Stern joined Bernstein Liebhard LLP in 2002 and is one of three partners who are heading the Firm’s mass tort and consumer protection practice.  Currently, she is actively involved in numerous medical device and pharmaceutical cases, including actions involving injuries caused by metal on metal hip replacement devices, transvaginal mesh products and Granuflo.
