Partner Eric Chaffin Discusses Subprime Litigation

On October 17, 2008, Partner Eric T. Chaffin was a guest on WVOX Radio's "The Issue," hosted by Margaret Friedberg.  Mr. Chaffin was a guest on the program along with Sam Buell, Professor of Law at Washington University and a former Enron prosecutor.  Mr. Chaffin discussed recent events at Fannie Mae and Lehman Brothers, including some of the early defenses executives at those companies have put forward in their testimony before Congress and in public statements.  Mr. Chaffin, Ms. Friedberg and Mr. Buell are all former Assistant U.S. Attorneys with the Department of Justice in the Eastern District of New York U.S. Attorney's Office. 

In addition to his work on securities cases, Mr. Chaffin also heads up the firms mass tort litigation, including the firm's development of denture cream zinc poisoning side effects cases and oral sodium phosphate litigation.
