In re Packaged Seafood Products Antitrust Litigation

On March 24, 2016, Bernstein Liebhard was appointed to the Executive Committee for the Direct Purchaser Plaintiffs in In re Packaged Seafood Products Antitrust Litigation, an action consolidated for pretrial proceedings in the Southern District of California.

This action arises out of a conspiracy by the largest producers of packaged seafood products (“PSPs”) in the United States to fix, raise, maintain, and/or stabilize prices for PSPs within the United States, and its territories and the District of Columbia, in violation of Sections 1 and 3 of the Sherman Antitrust Act (15 U.S.C. §§ 1, 3).

The case is being managed by the Chair of Bernstein Liebhard’s antitrust division, Senior Counsel Dana Statsky Smith.
