How Trasylol Causes Kidney Failure
The kidneys filter out hazardous waste and fluids from the body. When Trasylol is injected into the body, it can block the blood vessels traveling to the kidneys. This causes hazardous waste build up around the kidneys and leads to kidney failure. Kidney failure is a serious and life threatening side effect, and in certain cases, requires dialysis. Kidney dialysis is a procedure where waste and fluids are removed from the kidneys when the kidneys are not functioning.Signs & Symptoms of Kidney Failure
In the beginning, kidney failure may be asymptomatic (not producing any symptoms). As kidney function decreases, however, symptoms will begin to appear. Kidney failure symptoms are related to the inability to regulate water and electrolyte balances, to clear waste products from the body, and to promote red blood cell production. Trasylol kidney failure symptoms may include:- stomach or intestinal bleeding
- fluid retention
- reduced urine output
- fatigue
- loss of appetite
- shortness of breath
- weakness
- seizures
