Rujul Patel received her bachelor’s degrees in 2016 from Binghamton University (B.A., Political Science and English). She received her J.D. in 2020 from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, graduating cum laude, where she served as the Senior Notes Editor of The Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution and was awarded the Dean’s Merit Scholarship.
During law school, Ms. Patel served as an extern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, where she worked on cases within the Securities and Commodities Fraud Task Force, including complex cryptocurrency frauds and insider trading schemes. Ms. Patel also has defense-side experience handling regulatory investigations and white-collar matters at a prominent boutique firm in New York. Ms. Patel also served as a Teaching Assistant for Corporate Internal Investigations.
Ms. Patel worked as a paralegal before law school and is an active volunteer at BAPS Charities. She is fluent in Gujarati and conversational Hindi.
