July 2014

Bernstein Liebhard LLP is honored to be listed for the seventh consecutive year in the 2014 edition of The Legal 500, a self-described guide that provides the most up-to-date vision of the legal market and is “relied upon by millions of buyers of legal services worldwide.”  Bernstein Liebhard was ranked as one of the top eight plaintiffs’ firms that litigate securities class actions and mass torts. According to its editors, “[o]nly a small number of firms in the US have a truly national presence coupled with the capability to handle sophisticated and complex work; these are the ones we choose to highlight here.”  The editors further noted that “[t]his is not a game of numbers – indeed many of the firms included are, small, single-office firms – but simply a question of quality.”

In particular, The Legal 500 cited the Bernstein Liebhard’s role as co-lead counsel in In re Fannie Mae Securities Litigation, in which the firm secured a $153 million settlement.  The publication also cited the firm’s roles as investor counsel in In re Beacon Associates Litigation and as lead counsel in In re KIT Digital, Inc. Securities Litigation. Further, The Legal 500 recommended Partners Stanley D. Bernstein, Sandy A. Liebhard, Christian Siebott, and Jeffrey M. Haber.
