David K. Bergman has spent his entire thirty-year career working on behalf of investors redressing Wall Street misconduct and conflicts of interest. Prior to joining Bernstein Liebhard as Of Counsel, David served as counsel to numerous public pension funds, at what once was, the largest plaintiffs’ securities fraud law firms in the world. During his career, David has represented hundreds of public pension funds and developed vast experience with fiduciary best practices – especially as they relate to public pension funds. David has also served as a consultant to public pension funds, helping funds navigate conflicts and reduce unnecessary costs and risks associated with executing large trades, saving his public pension fund clients millions of dollars in excess fees and costs.

David speaks internationally on issues relating to corporate fraud and corporate governance, and multiple facets of best fiduciary practices and professional ethics. He has also formulated various best fiduciary practices regimens for pension funds throughout the United States.

David received his undergraduate degree from Brandeis University and his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. Mr. Bergman also holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
