
Mr. McEachern earned his Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law, cum laude, in 2019 where he was the Notes & Articles Editor of the Fordham Environmental Law Review, Ruth Whitehead Whaley Scholar, and recipient of the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award. He earned his bachelor’s degree in 2013 from the University of Vermont.
Mr. McEachern concentrates his practice on securities, commercial, and complex litigation. He has litigated individual and class actions in both federal and state courts, including merger and acquisition-related matters, regulatory issues, bankruptcy-related issues, and financial fraud. He was selected to Super Lawyers Magazine’s New York Metro Rising Stars list in 2025.
Mr. McEachern was part of the team that successfully negotiated a $6.625 million settlement in In re IronNet, Inc. Securities Litigation, No. 22-cv-00449 (E.D.V.A.) (awaiting final approval) and a $1 million settlement in Zerbato v. AlloVir, Inc. et al, No. 24-cv-10152 (D. Mass.) (awaiting final approval). He is currently working on several securities fraud class actions against numerous issuers for allegedly misleading investors, including Teroganesian v. Southwest Airlines Co., No. 23-cv-00115 (S.D.TX.), Saye v. NIO Inc., No. 22-cv-7666 (S.D.N.Y.), Indiana Public Retirement System v. Rivian Automotive, Inc. et al, No. 24-cv-04566 (C.D. Cal.), and Wentz v. Moderna, Inc. et al, No. 24-cv-12058 (D. Mass).
Mr. McEachern also represents consumers in consumer fraud class actions. Currently, Mr. McEachern represents consumers in Kahn v. Walmart, Inc., (N.D. Ill.), a class action alleging that Walmart overcharges consumers through unfair and deceptive pricing practices.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. McEachern was an associate at a prominent plaintiffs’ securities litigation firm where he prosecuted complex securities fraud cases on behalf of institutional investors, as well as cybersecurity and data privacy litigation. He was a member of the team that achieved a $650 million settlement in In re Facebook Biometric Information Privacy Litigation—one of the largest consumer data privacy settlements to date and one of the first cases asserting biometric privacy rights of consumers under Illinois’ Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA). Mr. McEachern also served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Gerald Lebovits of the New York State Supreme Court.
