Ryan S. Sharp joined the firm as an associate in 2023. He received his bachelor’s degree in 2009 from SUNY Albany (Bachelor of Political Science). He received his J.D. in 2016 from Pace University School of Law. He was chosen to be part of the second inaugural class of the New York State Pro Bono Scholar Program in his last year at Pace University School of Law. Mr. Sharp has also been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers from 2018 to 2023.
Mr. Sharp concentrates his practice on representing plaintiffs injured by pharmaceutical, medical devices and consumer products. He is currently representing plaintiffs in the In Re: Philips Recalled CPAP, Bi-Level Pap, and Mechanical Ventilator Products Litigation; In RE: Paragard IUD Products Liability Litigation; and In Re: Valsartan N-Nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) Contamination Products Liability Litigation.
Prior to joining Bernstein & Liebhard LLP, Mr. Sharp was an Assistant Managing Attorney at the Law Office of Michael S. Lamonsoff PLLC, where he practiced personal injury litigation. Mr. Sharp has litigated personal injury matters in both federal and state courts in various jurisdictions throughout the State of New York. He was an instrumental integral part in the initial client contact and ensuring that new clients are set up with the proper doctor to care for their injuries as well as adequately identifying, investigating, and litigating all potential liability issues. He also has a proven track record of settlements in all stages of litigation.
Before joining the Law Office of Michael S. Lamonsoff, Mr. Sharp spent several years working for Marc J. Bern & Partners LLP. Mr. Sharp was the lead attorney for the firm in the representation of the firm’s numerous Plaintiffs involved the Flint Water Crisis Litigation in the Eastern District of Michigan.
Mr. Sharp is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the Eastern District of Michigan.
