Bernstein Liebhard LLP today announced that an ERISA action has been filed against Mutual of Omaha Insurance Co. (“Mutual”) relating to its contribution plans. Bernstein Liebhard is investigating whether fiduciaries of Mutual’s plan violated the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (“ERISA”) by offering investment options with high fees that benefitted Mutual at the direct expense of participants in the plans.
