In 2009, Bernstein Liebhard LLP was listed for the third consecutive year in The Legal 500, a guide to the best commercial law firms in the United States, for its practice representing plaintiffs in securities class actions. According to its editor, The Legal 500 is an independent guide to commercial law firms, and is the largest legal referral site on the internet, found here.
The Legal 500 states that the Firm is “held in the highest regard by clients and the courts,” and quotes a judge who commented, at the close of a September 2008 hearing, “‘I am happy to say that the lawyers in this case have conducted themselves in the highest professional manner, and this does not surprise me, having had the opportunity to preside over a lot of these class action litigation: Mr. Haber, Mr. Bernstein – thank you all’.”
